Islamabad: Two terrorists, allegedly planning a massive attack in the capital, were arrested from Islamabad on Saturday, officials said.

Local police in Islamabad and security agencies claimed that they foiled a terrorist plan in the city by arresting five suspected terrorists from Sahallah T-Chowk. Explosive material and hand grenades were also seized from their possession, the police said.

Islamabad police shifted the terrorists to an undisclosed location, and are investigating into the tip-off received about the attack. Police officials claimed that the suspects were planning to attack in the federal capital.
