Terror bid foiled in Islamabad, two terrorists held
Islamabad: Two terrorists, allegedly planning a massive attack in the capital, were arrested from Islamabad on Saturday, officials said.
Local police in Islamabad and security agencies claimed that they foiled a terrorist plan in the city by arresting five suspected terrorists from Sahallah T-Chowk. Explosive material and hand grenades were also seized from their possession, the police said.
Islamabad police shifted the terrorists to an undisclosed location, and are investigating into the tip-off received about the attack. Police officials claimed that the suspects were planning to attack in the federal capital.
A day before, Islamabad which is considered the most secure city in the terrorism-hit country has witnessed two separate acts of terrorism on Friday.

Hours after two policeman were injured by firing of unknown gunmen who targeted cops in I-10 sector of the capital, one wounded policeman was later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
