SHANGLA: After terror attack on mobile in Shangla, security forces during search operation arrested 8 alleged terrorists and seized huge cache of arms and explosives, officials said on Thursday.

According to DIG Malakand, raids were made in different areas of Shangla where two sacks full with explosive material were recovered.

Police also seized hand grenades, guns, rocket launchers and local-made bombs. Bomb disposal unit called in which later on defused the bombs. Arrested eight suspects were shifted to undisclosed locations for investigations.

Earlier on Thursday morning, a police mobile was attacked in the same area of Shangla which resulted injuries to four personnel including an Inspector.
