KARACHI: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said, the textile sector is the backbone of the country's economy.
Pakistani textile industry is developing despite difficulties.

While addressing the ceremony of Textile Expo in Karachi Prime Minister (PM) has said, large number of foreign investors is participating in Expo.
Now foreign investors feel happy to come in Pakistan.
He has said, pre-budget meeting will start on next week.
He said, the textile sector of Karachi accounts for 60 percent of the country’ export.
He has said, textile sector is developing due to tireless work of businessmen.
He has said, we will provide the necessary support to traders to increase exports.
PM further added, there are great opportunities of investments in Pakistan.
Earlier PM Shehbaz Sharif has said, Imran Khan is seeking help from foreign countries.
If the miscreants involved in the happenings of May 9 are not punished, the country may suffer.
Groups were spread on the order of Imran Khan and they were told where they have to attack.
Innovation in old textile technology by Pakistan and global brand NetWare and Garments are major milestones in this sector.
