Rawalpindi: At least two suspected terrorists, including an IED expert, was killed in two intelligence-based operations in Northwazirstan Agency of KP province.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relation, Rawalpindi security forces conducted two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) on terrorist hideouts in Northwazirstan.

During exchange of fire, at least three soldiers embraced shahadat. Sepoy Azaib Ahmed, a resident of Karak, Sepoy Zia Ul Islam, a resident of Bannu and Lance Naik Abbass Khan, a resident of Orakzai, embraced shahadat in the operations.
