ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman has not appeared on being summoned for NAB inquiry in Tosha Khana case but he has filed reply in NAB through his counsel Barrister Gauhar.
The NAB jurisdiction was challenged in Tosha Khana inquiry.
According to sources chairman PTI while challenging the NAB jurisdiction through his written reply in Toshakhana inquiry case said as per law cases less than Rs 500 million don’t fall in the jurisdiction of NAB.
Determining the cost of Toshakhana gifts is job of cabinet division.
Imran Khan said in his written reply today I cannot appear and if NAB summons I will appear on June 19.
It was further said in the reply Chairman PTI did not get determine cost of gifts in the capacity of prime minister.
NAB had alleged chairman PTI of influencing the determination of cost of gifts and the allegation of misusing his powers by Chairman PTI is not correct, the reply stated.
