Peshawar: Transfer of prisoners to newly constructed Swat jail to start from January 22 Chairman District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Swat Fazal Hakeem Khan Yousafzai chaired an important meeting regarding Swat Jail at DDAC Office Swat.

The meeting was attended by Swat Jail Superintendent Ayub Badshah, Secretary Good Governance Saifullah and other officials.

During the meeting, the Jail Superintendent gave a detailed briefing to Fazal Hakeem Khan on the progress made in the reconstruction of Swat Jail and transfer of prisoners to the new jail.

On this occasion, Fazal Hakeem Khan said that keeping in view the special instructions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, the remaining work regarding the facilities in the new jail should be completed soon and arrangements for the inauguration of the jail building should also be completed.

He said that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan would inaugurate it soon. Chairman DDAC Swat said that the reconstruction of Swat Jail was being completed in a short span of time which would solve the problems arising due to non-existence of Jail in Swat.

He said that the facilities for the prisoners in the new jail have been improved so that their facilities can be provided to them in accordance with the law.
