Youth Loan Programme to boost software product sector: Anusha

ISLAMABAD: State minister for Information Technology(IT), Ms. Anusha Rahman on Wednesday urged Information Technology students to take full advantage of Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Programme to boost software product sector.

She expressed these views while presiding as the Guest of Honour at the 11th International Conference on Frontiers of information Technology.

The FIT 2013 conference, organized by COMSATS Institute of Information Technology held here.

The IT minister said that youth should take full advantage of this significant opportunity and utilize it fully to boost the Pakistan’s software products at national and international fora.

Anusha Rahman praised the efforts of the event organizers and participants. She emphasized the importance of such endeavours as a means to encourage the aptitude within the Pakistani youth and to promote the accomplishments of Pakistan’s it industry.

The Minister also visited the IT Projects developed by COMSAT’S students and appreciated their talent saying that their achievements reflected a bright future for the youth in Pakistan.

The conference was attended by notable professors and industry leaders from across the globe. The speakers highlighted information and Communications Technologies, Tutorials and workshops. The event also showcased achievements of students and IT industry in Pakistan.
