Zafar Iqbal wins 6th Islamabad Tenpin Bowling Championship

ISLAMABAD: Zafar Iqbal has won the 6th Islamabad tenpin bowling championship in men’s single category Championship 2013.

Details said the championship was held at Megazone Bowling club F/9 Park Islamabad. The championship continues for 4 days in which players from twin cities participated.

The tournament was played on Singles,Doubles,Deaf Event And ITBA Tour. Zafar Iqbal scored in final 393 points to make the title on his name and become in rank of the association.

In final he beat Atta Muhaamad with 10 points and won cash prize of Rs 15,000 and a Gold Medal, while Muhammad Atta secured second position with total score of 383 got 2nd position and won Rs10, 000 cash prize and Silver Medal.

In the doubles Category Atta Muhammad and Malik Faisal got in three games first position with total score 1093 and got Gold Medals, while Ijaz Ur Rehman and Zafar Iqbal secured second position with total score 1083 and won silver medals.

In the Deaf category Khurram secured first position with 273 points and won gold medal, Qasim stood second with 269 points and wonsilver medal while Aamir secured 3rd position with 248 points and won the bronze medal.

Chief Guest Senator Farah Aaqil Shah appreciate players and says that sports board of Pakistan is the hub of corruption where the just making money and don’t promote sports in Pakistan.

She said that we will bring all the corrupt elements in the standing committee meeting will be held on 15th February 2014.She said that sport board of Pakistan is made for promotion of sports in Pakistan but the sports board officials just earning money.
