RAWALPINDI: Zakat council has decided to distribute Eid gift of Rs 9000 per head among the thousands of needy persons.

Eid gift is being restored after one year and two months.

Zakat council has decided to restore dowry fund after three years which was suspended in 2019 due to coronavirus.

In this regard zakat council has summoned its meeting today March 21.

Eid gift will be distributed among 10000 needy persons including widows and orphans. Eid gift will be distributed in last Ashra of holy month of Ramadan .
