ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the media freedom is central to the survival of democracy.

In a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday Shehbaz Sharif said that our journalists have waged a long and hard struggle to earn this freedom. He said that all Opposition political parties stand by the media bodies and together we will thwart the government’s plan to take that freedom away.
