War criminals & shamefully defeated American & NATO forces in Afghanistan given shelter in hotels in Islamabad: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE: Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch while addressing public meetings and workers conventions in Faisalabad, Jhang, Kashmore, Larkana, Jacobabad, Thal, Shikarpur, Sukkur and talking to delegations in Lahore said that the war criminals and the shamefully defeated American and NATO forces in Afghanistan have been given shelter in hotels in Islamabad. Is this a decision of Imran Khan and his cabinet or a unilateral decision like General Pervez Musharraf above them? The whole nation is not aware of sensitive and national security decisions. No matter or decision can be kept secret now as everything discloses with the passage of time.

Liaqat Baloch said that decisions taken in drawing rooms have negative effects. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s biggest failure, inexperience and incompetence is that for Corona (Covid-19) pandemic, the Kashmir issue, the situation in Palestine, the achievements of the Afghan people in Afghanistan and the most important milestones, electoral reforms and to get rid of the worst economic situation, a policy based on national unity and a unified national strategy could not be formulated. We lost Kashmir while waiting for Narendra Modi’s phone call and nobody knows what is being surrendered after Biden’s phone call. Let the rulers and policy-makers of Pakistan wholeheartedly accept the supremacy of Islam and the victory of the Afghan people in Afghanistan.

Addressing public rallies, Liaqat Baloch said that the people were fed up with the sharp rise in inflation, unemployment, corruption, bribery, lawlessness and utility bills. There is growing frustration among the people for democracy and parliamentary electoral system. Jamaat-e-Islami has the potential to lead the country out of crisis. People should come forward to support Jamaat-e-Islami. We will ensure the basic needs of every individual and a life of dignity. We will bring such an automated, confident system that the elite will stay within their limits and the poor, the oppressed class of society will rise and enjoy the joys and prosperity of life. We will bring a reliable system of employment for every individual, every youth. Merit, principle, system of giving rights to the rightful will come.

Liaqat Baloch said that the Jamaat-e-Islami is determined to bring an Islamic economic system to the country that is conducive to all human beings and aims at the establishment of Pakistan and the protection of cultural and moral values under the Two-Nation Theory. Jamaat-e-Islami workers and candidates will launch a nationwide public awareness campaign to increase its vote bank on the electoral symbol Scales.

Sirajul Haq declares US withdrawal from Afghanistan as historic, linking success of Islamic forces to victory of entire Muslim Ummah

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Sirajul Haq has declared the US withdrawal from Afghanistan as historic, linking the success of Islamic forces to the victory of entire Muslim Ummah.

Addressing a training workshop at Mansoora on Tuesday, Sirajul Haq demanded the international community to cooperate with Taliban to establish peace and stability in war-torn country, saying Islamic forces were fully capable to put Afghanistan on track.

He believed India would no more be able to use Afghan soil to destabilize Pakistan. He said western powers and US should refrain from hatching conspiracies to throw the country into civil war. He said relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan would further strengthen in future. He demanded the government send immediately back to their homes the US and NATO forces staying in Islamabad and other cities, saying country could not afford their stay due to situation in the region.

Sirajul Haq expressed concern over the fragile economic situation, saying the prime minister claims about the government performance were contrary to the ground situation. Quoting State Bank report, he said the government total debt had increased by 22 percent to around Rs39 trillion during past two years. He said the government took record loans, touching around 80 percent of the GDP and it needed USD 20 billion for repayment during next financial year. He said inflation, poverty and unemployment were the trademarks of the PTI government, doubting the rulers’ capability to bring the country out of prevailing crises.

Sirajul Haq criticized the government proposal for establishing the Media Development Authority, saying the ruling party wanted to curtail the media freedom and it could bring disaster to overall democratic norms which were already compromised in the country. He said there was no reason to go forward with the idea of MDA when the media organizations and journalist unions had vehemently opposed it.
