Punjab begins door to door anti-covid vaccination

Lahore: Punjab Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid on Saturday said that a door to door vaccination campaign is underway in the province.

Speaking during visit to a vaccination center in Lahore, Yasmin said that seven hundred thousand people are daily vaccinated in Punjab and soon all the people will be vaccinated against the virus.

She said that government is providing high quality vaccine free of cost.

Earlier, Pakistan reported 46 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,248,202. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 27,831 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,664 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
