Dhaka: Advocate Ehsanul Haq Mahbub Zubair, Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Head of the Central Media and Publications Department, has strongly condemned and protested against the alleged false propaganda linking the respected Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and National Assembly candidate from Dhaka-15, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, with baseless claims.

In the released statement, he said that a particular conspiratorial group is deliberately spreading unfounded, false, and misleading information against Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, which has no connection to reality. He stated that all these allegations are completely fabricated, baseless, and driven by ill intent.

He further said that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman is an honest, principled leader who is widely respected and accepted across all segments of society. The negative campaign being run regarding an alleged public payment is, in fact, a cheap conspiracy by politically bankrupt and morally defeated elements. Fearing the continuous rise in public support, opponents are attempting to create confusion and unrest.

Advocate Ehsanul Haq Mahbub Zubair appealed to the public not to pay attention to rumors, false propaganda, and misleading information being spread against the Ameer of Jamaat or any leader of Jamaat-e-Islami. He also urged the concerned circles to immediately stop such negative activities.
