½islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Senator Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with British Member of Parliament Lord Shafaq Mohammad. During the meeting, both sides discussed Pakistan-UK relations and issues of mutual interest.

½While speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan holds its long-standing relations with the United Kingdom in high esteem. He added that the Pakistani community in the UK is playing diverse and significant role in the development of both countries. The Interior Minister noted that the community serves as an important bridge between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

½Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi further stated that any criminal activity by Pakistanis abroad is condemnable, and Pakistan is committed to taking back those individuals - except those who have already relinquished their Pakistani citizenship.

½Lord Shafaq Mohammad assured that he would continue to play an active role in further strengthening the ties between the two countries.

½Federal Secretary Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
