Karachi: The Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi held the Commissioning Parade of the 124?? Midshipmen and 32n? Short Service Commission (SSC) Course on Friday, marking the passing out of 90 Midshipmen and 34 SSC cadets. Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohamed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, attended as the Chief Guest and was received by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf.

Rear Admiral Al Bin Ali, an alumnus of the Pakistan Naval Academy, praised the professional competence of the Pakistan Navy and its role as a key regional force. He highlighted the Academy's tradition of training cadets from friendly nations, noting participants from Bahrain, Iraq, Djibouti, Sri Lanka, and Trkiye. The Chief Guest reaffirmed the enduring bonds, shared values, and mutual commitment between Pakistan and Bahrain.

Prizes were awarded to outstanding cadets: Midshipman Muhammad Uzair Abbas received the Sword of Honour for overall best performance, Midshipman Shahab Ahmed won the Academy's Dirk, Officer Cadets Umar Mukhtar (Pakistan) and Aldhahabi Fahad Husam Fareed (Iraq) received Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medals, and Officer Cadet Syed Saad Shahid (SSC Course) earned the Commandant Gold Medal. The Proficiency Banner was claimed by the Quarterdeck Squadron.

The ceremony was attended by military officials, dignitaries, and cadets' families.
