Islamabad: 2 accused have been arrested in the murder case of economic and defence analyst Sardar Fahim.

IG Islamabad along with state minister for interior Talal Chaudhry told the media men during a press conference the accused were arrested from Gujranwala and Sargodha. They were habitual criminals.

These accused conducted rake to observe in which home the presence and arrival of people is less. They entered into home of Sardar Fahim with intent of robbery. They hit him with iron rods on putting resistance by him.

IG said Sardar Fahim murder was a test case. We brought the murder case to logic end within 6 days.

On the other hand Talal Chaudhry while admiring Islamabad police said police resolved several cases including Sana Yousuf murder case and sexual abuse of foreign lady. Crime rate in Islamabad has declined due to these efforts by police.

It is pertinent to mention here Fahim Sardar was found in injured condition at his home and he died on his way to hospital. He was associated with a think tank linked to government.
