Khuzdar: As many as 5 persons including 3 children and 38 were critically injured due to suicide attack on a school children bus.

The incident took place on Zero point in Khuzdar on the Karachi-Quetta National Highway A school bus was carrying children to school when a blast occurred.

The eye witnesses said the blast was so severe that the bus was fully destroyed and several injured children fell on road.

According to district management the preliminary investigation has revealed the blast was suicide attack. The attacker exploded himself near bus.

On information Rescue teams rushed to the scent and the injured were shifted to nearby hospital forthwith where they are being provided medical aid.

The death toll is feared to increase due to critical condition of some children.

Police and security institutions have cordoned off the area immediately and started search operation. Evidences are being collected from the site and search of facilitators of terrorists is underway.

According to ISPR, in yet another cowardly and ghastly attack, planned and orchestrated by terrorist state of India and executed by its proxies in Balochistan on Wednesday.

After having miserably failed in the battlefield, through these most heinous and cowardly such like acts, Indian proxies have been unleashed to spread terror and unrest in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Having failed in the "Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos" and being hunted by military and law enforcement agencies, these Indian terror proxies are being employed as a state tool by India to foment terrorism in Pakistan against soft targets such as innocent children and civilians.

The ISPR said use of terrorism as a state policy by Indian political government is abhorrent and reflective of their low morality and disregard of basic human norms.

The ISPR further said that planners, abettors and executors of this cowardly Indian sponsored attack will be hunted down and brought to justice and heinous face of India will be exposed in front of the entire world.

Pakistan Armed Forces, with support of brave Pakistani nation, stand united to uproot Indian sponsored terrorism from Pakistan in its all manifestations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the tragic and inhumane bombing targeting a school bus in Khuzdar, which claimed the lives of innocent children and teachers.

The Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and directed the federal and provincial authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also strongly condemned the explosion inside the bus near Khuzdar Zero Point.

In a statement on X, he expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of four children, and extended his condolences to their families.
