Bannu: 4 members of Aman Committee (peace committee) have been killed due to firing by terrorists in the limits of police station Hoveed , Bannu.

According to media reports, unknown armed persons opened indiscriminate firing on a car in Mazang chowk in the limits of police station Haveed .

In consequence of firing 4 persons including father and son who were seated in car died on the spot. The victims belonged to local Aman Committee. They were returning from a Jirga in Gulbadin Landani Dak.

Heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene after the incident. The bodies were shifted to hospital.

Search operation has been started in the area.

Bodies have been shifted to hospital for postmortem.
