Rawalpindi: Home department Punjab has sacked 4 employees including missing deputy superintendent Adiala jail besides forfeiting service of one assistant superintendent and one warder.The other officers and personnel who have been dismissed are assistant superintendent ( incharge nafsiaty ward) and two warders.Secretary home department Punjab Noor ul Amin Mengal issued written order in this regard.The sacked employees are Assistant Superintendent Executive Muhammad Akram, officer incharge (nafsiyati ward) assistant superintendent Riaz Khan, warder barrack inchrge Nasir Mehmood and warder Aamir Abbas. Warder Saqlain Jalal has been pardoned.Sources said these officers were sacked being declared at fault in jail murder inquiry .It is pertinent to mention here missing deputy superintendent Muhammad Akram who has been dismissed from service is facing the charges of providing mobile phone, illegal facilitation to PTI founder Imran Khan in jail. He is missing from Adiala jail since August 14 mysteriously.
