6th International Students Convention and Expo (ISCE) 2026 to Be Held in Islamabad from May 4-6

Islamabad: The 6th International Students Convention and Expo (ISCE) 2026 is scheduled to take place in Islamabad from May 4-6, 2026, following five successful editions in Lahore, Karachi, Northern Sindh, and Faisalabad. The event will gather thousands of students, academicians, researchers, industry representatives, and Vice Chancellors from Pakistan and abroad, providing a dynamic platform for academic exchange, innovation, professional networking, and youth empowerment.

Prof. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairperson of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), accepted patronage as Patron-in-Chief of the Convention and officially launched the event at a cake-cutting ceremony at the Islamabad Club, attended by ambassadors, diplomatic corps members, Vice Chancellors, industrialists, and academic leaders.

The Convention is expected to host participants from over 150 universities and institutions with more than 15,000 students attending. The three-day program will feature:

Student competitions and innovation-driven project exhibitions

Industrial stalls and career guidance sessions

Academic and research presentations

Cultural activities and sports competitions

Lyallpur Industrial Pavilion, alongside Education, Tourism, and Diplomatic Pavilions

Student competitions and workshops will take place at Quaid-i-Azam University, while other Islamabad and Rawalpindi institutions will host seminars, panel discussions, and thematic academic sessions as part of the broader Convention framework.

In addition, international sports events will expand the Convention's global outreach. An International Handball Referees Training and Certification Course will run from May 5-15, 2026, followed by the International Handball Tournament from May 17-22, 2026, at Government College University Faisalabad, featuring national and international teams.

The ISCE 2026 aims to nurture youth talent, foster creativity and leadership skills, strengthen academia-industry collaboration, promote international sports relations, and expand global cooperation, establishing itself as a key milestone for educational harmony and the empowerment of the next generation of leaders.
