Landi kotal: As many as 7 persons including a woman have been killed and 9 injured in firing incidents in Lakki Marwat and Landi Kotal.

According to RESCUE 1122, exchange of fire took place between two families in Toortalle Manjiwala near Wanda Haji Gull in Lakki Marwat due to old enmity leaving 5 persons including a woman dead.

As per media reports, the shooting incident occurred due to a longstanding murder dispute between the two families, whose feud dated back nearly a decade.

Exchange of fire resulted into death of three people from one family and two from the other family.

RESCUE 1122 medical teams rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to city hospital Lakki city.

As per media report, in the second incident two rival groups exchanged fire in the area of Neiki Khel of Landi Kotal police over land dispute. 2 persons were killed and 3 were injured in the incident.

Police said the injured have been shifted to Landi Kotal hospital for medical aid.

Police have reached the scene for necessary proceedings.
