Lucknow: Nine persons, including women and children, were injured when a Muslim family was brutally attacked by Hindu men inside their home in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh.

According to media reports, the incident occurred in the town of Echoli, Barabanki district, where a poor Muslim family was violently attacked. Two women, Masrat Jahan and Noor Bano, are said to be in critical condition.

The victims stated that the attack was carried out by Ram Awdesh, Puttan Maharaj, and their four sons, who are known to be influential figures in the area. The assailants barged into the house over a minor dispute and mercilessly beat the entire family.
