Lahore: Ameer of Tanzeem e Islami, Shujauddin Shaikh has said that a decisive response beyond mere defensive measures must go to India amidst Modi's war hysteria against Pakistan.In a statement issued on Friday, Shujauddin Shaikh said that following the drama initiated in Pahalgam, India has, over the past two days, imposed continuous aerial warfare on Pakistan. On the night between May 6 and 7, air strikes were carried out on approximately nine Pakistani cities. In response, the Pakistan Air Force downed five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafales. Furthermore, during the night of May 7 and 8 and throughout the day on May 8, India deployed drones across various parts of Pakistan. The objective was not only to assess the Pakistan Armed Forces' technical ability to counter drones but also to spread fear and panic among the masses. He expressed gratitude to Allah (SWT) that the Pakistan Air Force thwarted these objectives. By deploying suicide drones acquired from Israel, India also aimed to destroy Pak istan's radar and air defense systems. According to military and other sources, at least 35 drones were skillfully intercepted and destroyed. The use of Israeli drones has further confirmed the growing alliance between Zionist Israel and Hindutva India. This malevolent alliance is attempting every possible strategy to neutralize Pakistan's nuclear capabilities.Shujauddin Shaikh stated that Pakistan is currently in a state of war. In Surah Al-Anfal of the Holy Qur'an, Allah (SWT) has declared it forbidden and a grave sin to flee the battlefield during war-except as a tactical maneuver or to regroup with another unit. A Hadith in Sahih Bukhari also conveys the message that while one should not wish for war, if it becomes inevitable, one must confront the enemy with patience and resolve, seeking help from Allah (SWT). Therefore, for the sake of its survival and security, Pakistan must move beyond defensive posturing and deliver a decisive and crushing response to the enemy. Failure to do so will embolden the a dversary, diminishing our deterrence and allowing destructive operations to continue.Shujauddin Shaikh further stated that the malevolent alliance between Modi and Netanyahu has proven that India's recent aggression against Pakistan is part of a broader global strategy aimed at strengthening Israel and clearing obstacles in the path of its expansionist agenda-namely, the creation of Greater Israel. He concluded by supplicating that the civilian and military leaderships of Pakistan must recognize the deceitful nature of the Zionist state of Israel and its collaborators.
