Lahore: A delegation of trainee ASPs from the 51st Common Training Program of the National Police Academy visited the Capital City Police Headquarters for a study tour. The delegation comprised 18 ASPs, including female officers. The officers were briefed on Lahore Police's training, performance, crime prevention and other professional matters. ASP Defence Shehrbano Naqvi provided insights into the organizational structure of the Lahore Police. During his address to the police probationers, the CCPO mentioned that comprehensive reforms have been introduced to make police a public-centric department. He highlighted the pivotal role of Police in ensuring a safe society and urged the delegation to embrace competence, professionalism and a spirit of public service; reminding them that they are the future leaders of law enforcement and should focus on best delivery.

The CCPO underscored that honest, hardworking and dedicated officers are a valuable asset to the police department. He urged the officers to harness latest technology to transform archaic policing practices, ensuring their presence brings a tangible and positive shift in the conventional "Thana culture." The CCPO also instructed the them to ensure that no innocent is illegally arrested under their supervision. He reiterated that police service was not a routine job but a lifestyle, dedicated to public service. The delegation commended Lahore Police for their professional contributions to a peaceful society. The event concluded with the exchange of commemorative souvenirs. The ceremony was attended by DIG (OCU) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Muhammad Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, SSP (Admin) Atif Nazir and SSP (Operations) Tasawar Iqbal.
