Lahore: A grand ceremony was organized at Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Head Office to honor 27 students from Gaza who have completed their Bachelor's degrees in Dental Surgery.The event was attended by President Alkhidmat, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri, Dean Al-Azhar University Gaza Dr. Muhammad Riaz Zaghbour, leader of Doctors of Rahman UK Dr. Yousuf Sheikh, Chairman Alkhidmat Health Dr. Zahid Latif, National Director Alkhidmat Education Dr. Ahmed Gibran, President Alkhidmat Europe Dr. Hamid Farooq, Principal University of Lahore Dr. Mehwish, National IT Director of Alkhidmat Dr. Saad Zafar, along with faculty members and prominent figures from various fields.Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, speaking at the ceremony, said that it is a matter of pride for the people of Pakistan to host Palestinian students from Gaza.He stated that Alkhidmat Foundation, in collaboration with its partner welfare and educational institutions, is providing scholarships to 409 Palestinian students from Gaza in Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan. These scholarships cover their education, accommodation, food, medical facilities, as well as a monthly cash award, he added.He further mentioned that four batches of Palestinian students have completed their graduation, and ceremonies were held in their honor in Istanbul, Turkey; PMDC Islamabad; Fauji Foundation University Islamabad; and the University of Lahore.
