Islamabad: A lady government officer has been arrested for spreading insulting messages against the state institutions.
As per media reports, National Cyber Crime Agency (NCCA) has arrested a lady government officer on charges of transmitting insulting messages against state institutions.
According to authorities the lady officer is charged with spreading messages against state institution during Pakistan-India tension. Case has been registered against lady officer under PECA act.
It has been said in the text of the case the woman lady officer tried to provoke sentiments of people against national institutions.
According the registered case, the lady officer has been arrested while evidences have been found in her mobile phone.
