Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has approved bail of the accused in November 26 hit and run case of 3 Rangers personnel.
The court said in its remarks prosecution failed in satisfying the court that accused will not abide by conditions of bail. There is no possibility that the accused will try to disrupt justice system. The courts have settled that bail cannot be rejected as punishment.
Bail of Hashim Ali Abbasi is approved against surety bond in the sum of Rs 50000.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of ATC Islamabad issued written decision on Monday.
The court while approving bail of the accused Hashim Abbasi against the surety bonds in the sum of Rs 50000 in 3 Rangers death case on November 26 said apparently there is case of more inquiry against the accused Hashim Abbasi. Court's observation will have no effect on the bail of co-accused. Court observation is of general nature. This is to the extent of this case.
The court remarked the this is stance of counsel of the accused that the accused has been involved in this case wrongly.
As per counsel no criminal record of the accused is available. This is fabricated case.
The prosecutor while opposing the bail the accused is involved in heinous crime.
As per prosecutor 3 Rangers personnel were killed due to the accused act.
According to the court the prosecutor has said ample material is available against the accused. The witness identified the accused correctly in identification parade.
As per record the accused is not nominated in the FIR. Prima Fasciae the case of the accused comes in further inquiry.
The case with reference to the accused will become clear after reviewing the evidence.
