Acting Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan Meets US-Pakistan International Chamber Delegation and PRA Office Bearers

Islamabad: Acting Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, held a meeting with a delegation led by M. Siddique Sheikh, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the US-Pakistan International Chamber of Commerce, at the Parliament House. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral trade relations and promoting investment opportunities between Pakistan and the United States.

The Acting Chairman welcomed the delegation and appreciated the efforts of international chambers of commerce in advancing Pakistan's economic and industrial growth. He said Pakistan has re-emerged on the global stage in a dynamic way, which will positively impact local economic activities and attract global investment.

Syedaal Khan emphasized that overseas Pakistanis are true ambassadors of the nation and their contributions are highly valued. He said that the government is committed to ensuring ease of doing business, investment security, and export growth.

Earlier, the Acting Chairman also met with the newly elected office bearers of the Parliamentary Reporters Association (PRA) at the Parliament House. He highlighted the vital role of media in strengthening democracy, promoting transparency, and building public trust. He congratulated the newly elected PRA leadership and appreciated their commitment to professional journalism.
