Rawalpindi: Jail trial of May 9 related cases has once again been cancelled while court has fixed date for indictment.

May 9 related cases came up for hearing before Judge Amjid Ali Shah of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi.

Opposition leader Omar Ayub, former federal minister Sheikh Rashid, public prosecutors and defence counsels reached the court .

Copies of cases were distributed among the accused persons.

Attendance of PTI founder Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi was marked on Robkar. All the exemption from attendance pleas of other accused persons were approved.

Later court fixed May 3 for charging indictment in 3 cases related to May 9 cases.

The court also ordered to present challans of remaining 10 cases on next hearing.

The court adjourned the hearing of the cases till May 3.
