Afghan govt decides to disarm TTP, settle them in far off areas from Pakistan borders

Islamabad: Afghan government has decided to disarm Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and settle them far off from Pakistan borders, say sources.

Sources said Afghan government is shifting TTP members to Ghazni and other remote areas and they are being disarmed.

Afghan delegation said this process has been started and progress is under way in phases.

A 2 hours 40 minutes long meeting was held between interior minister Mohsin Naqvi and Afghan interior minister Siraj ud Din Haqqani in Kabul.

The sources said detailed discussion was held only on the threats being faced by Pakistan from TTP during this meeting.

Pakistan delegation said TTP attacks from Aghan soil be taken seriously.

Pakistan delegation further said don't please our and your enemies.

Aghan foreign minister Siraj ud Din Haqqani assured Pakistan delegation we are ready to work with you. But this process will take time.

Afghan delegation also disclosed Afghan government has arrested Afghans affiliated with TTP which is involved in attacks inside Pakistan. Arrests at large scale have been made in this regard.
