Afghanistan instructs its traders to stop all dealings with Pakistan

Kabul: Afghanistan's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Abdul Ghani Baradar, on Wednesday urged traders in Kabul to seek markets other than Pakistan.Abdul Ghani Baradar said that within three months, all accounts should be settled and other accounts in Pakistan should be closed.The Afghan Deputy Prime Minister stated that if Pakistan wants to reopen the trade route, it must provide strong guarantees. He also announced that no more medicines should be imported from Pakistan.He further said, 'If anyone continues to trade with Pakistan or sends goods through that route after this announcement, the Emirate will not support them and will not resolve their issues.'
