Sialkot: Defence minister Khawaja Asif has said Afghans are working as Indian proxy and if the matters are not settled then Pakistan is prepared for open conflict along the border.
He said this while talking to media men here Saturday.
He went on to say three Afghan generations grew up in Pakistan and it does not behove them to support terrorism now.
He said first PIT flight for Manchester has departed. National airlines has sustained ample loss so far. Government is determined to make it profitable now.
He said no terrorism incident has taken place in border areas since the last four to five years. Our Jawans and citizen are martyred on every other day in terror related incidents. Our borders are secure due to martyrs.
'Our forces and police are fighting terrorists, and we mourn the loss of soldiers almost every other day,' he added.
He observed Pakistan has already fought a war with India, and India is now attempting a proxy war through Afghan territory.'
Pakistan hosted Afghan citizens for 40 years and still 4 million Afghan citizens are here in Pakistan. Three generations of Afghans grew up here and it does not behove them to support terrorism against Pakistan.

He criticized medical staff in government hospitals. On one side jawans of army are sacrificing their lives for the protection of people and on the other side doctors are not performing their duties in government hospitals.
He indicated that principal of medical college here has opened laboratories in his name across the city.
