Islamabad: PTI founding leader Akbar S Babar has announced to challenge on legal form the expected decision of speaker National Assembly (NA) to make Mehmood Khan Achakzai as opposition leader.

According to Akbar S Babar notifying Mehmood Khan Achakzai as opposition leader by speaker NA will be violation of Supreme Court (SC) decision. Any such decision by speaker NA will be challenged on legal form.

He said in his statement SC has maintained on page 370 in PLD-2018 that convicted person is not authorized to do political decisions. NA rules don't allow speaker NA to appoint opposition leader at behest of convicted person.

Akbar S Babar said violation of SC decision will be contempt of court and a symbol of Muk Mukao politics.

Politics of muk mukao made the people poor and rulers prosperous.
