Al-Khidmat Raazi Hospital Rawalpindi completes 1,000 consecutive PCNL (kidney stone) procedures in just 18 months

Rawalpindi: Al-Khidmat Raazi Hospital Rawalpindi's Department of Urology has completed 1,000 consecutive PCNL (kidney stone) procedures in just 18 months - a major achievement for our centre. PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) is a latest and an effective method to remove major or complex kidney stone.At the Raazi Hospital, more than 99% of these 1,000 surgeries went smoothly with no major complication - a result of skilled hands, experienced teams and careful technique. According to the statistics of the hospital, the patients treated across all ages - 3 to 80 years.After the surgery the stay of the patients at the hospital remained under 24 hours and transfusion rate remained only 2%.
