Al-Qadir Trust reference: Cross examination of 3 more NAB witnesses completed

RAWALPINDI: The lawyers of the accused have completed cross questioning of 3 more witnesses of NAB in Al-Qadir Trust Reference based on 190 million pounds scandal against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad led by Judge Muhammad Ali WarraichThe court while summoning 3 important witnesses of NAB has adjourned hearing till July 10.Former chairman PTI and his wife were present in the court along with their counsels Zahir Abbas Chaudhry and Usman Gill.NAB Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi and Amjid Pervez appeared in the court.The counsels for the accused completed cross examination of more 3 witnesses during the hearing. This way statements of 30 witnesses have been recorded in the case so far.The court has summoned 3 important witnesses of reference including former defence minister Pervaiz Khattak, former federal minister Zubaida Jalal and Azam Khan for recording their statements on next hearing.The further hearing of reference will take place on July 10.Talking to media men outside Adiala jail after hearing of the case PTI leader said if interference is not stopped in Adiala jail then hunger strike will be announced in consultation with former chairman PTI Imran Khan. After the announcement by former chairman PTI not only country wide hunger strike will be observed but peaceful protest demonstrations will be held across the country.
