Alkhidmat announces launch of Bano Qabil Skill Development Program for girls


Karachi: Alkhidmat Karachi has announced the launch of the Bano Qabil Skill Development Program for girls, following the success of the initiative for boys. Hundreds of young applicants participated in the interview session held at Idara Noor-e-Haq for enrollment in various skill development courses. Thousands of students had completed online registrations for the program.

During the interview session, candidates’ interests and abilities were assessed, while they were also informed about the importance and scope of different technical courses. Applicants appeared for interviews for courses including Mobile Repairing, General Electrician, Laptop Repairing, Solar PV, and AC Refrigeration. The Bano Qabil Skill Development Program team provided complete guidance to the students throughout the process.

On the occasion, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig, Executive Director Rashid Qureshi, and Director SDC Yousuf Mohiuddin visited the interview camp and interacted with the participants. Senior Manager Muhamma
d Tariq and other officials of the Bano Qabil Skill Development Program were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Naveed Ali Baig said that Alkhidmat is committed to empowering the youth through practical skills training. He stated that Karachi’s youth are highly talented and that the program has already proven to be successful. He added that Alkhidmat aims to empower young people from every segment of society, enabling them to earn a respectable livelihood through technical skills.

He further noted that the number of youth joining the program is increasing every year and that Alkhidmat plans to expand the initiative further. Executive Director Rashid Qureshi said that many young people want to support their families by learning practical skills. He added that numerous students who completed courses from Bano Qabil Skill Development Centers are now successfully running businesses or working in jobs. He encouraged youth not to lose hope and to take advantage of these opportunities to build a better future.

He further announced that the program for girls will soon be formally launched, providing them with opportunities to progress and become self-reliant. He emphasized that skilled youth can change the destiny of the nation. Yousuf Mohiuddin said that Alkhidmat is currently operating seven Skill Development Centers across the city and plans to establish more centers in additional areas so that a greater number of young people can benefit from the program.
