Karachi: Alkhidmat Diagnostics Karachi is set to launch advanced molecular diagnostic services with the installation of the state-of-the-art SeqStudio Genetic Analyzer, marking a significant milestone in the organization's healthcare capabilities.

The newly acquired platform enables high-precision DNA fragment analysis and Sanger sequencing, facilitating accurate detection of genetic variations across a wide spectrum of clinical conditions.

According to officials, the system will support testing for inherited disorders such as cystic fibrosis and beta-thalassemia, alongside critical applications in oncology, including detection of EGFR, KRAS, and BRAF mutations that guide targeted cancer therapies.

The facility will also offer leukemia clonality testing, HLA typing for transplant compatibility, and identification of infectious agents including bacterial and fungal pathogens.
