A good teacher recognizes the latent abilities within their students and encourages them to move forward.Syed Waqas Jafri added that a teacher is a lamp that burns itself to illuminate the future of others, a teacher may not be a king but a king maker. The role of teachers in the progress of nations is no less than that of any other sector, as today's students are tomorrow's doctors, engineers, scientists, teachers, and leaders. He paid tribute to all teachers serving the nation, including Alkhidmat's volunteer teacher, the martyr Zahoor-ur-Rehman, who sacrificed his life to save children during last year's floods. He remarked that such teachers and educational workers stand as bright examples of determination, sacrifice, and devotion to duty for all of us.He emphasized that giving teachers their rightful status and respect in society is our collective duty. Paying attention to children's moral and mental development alongside their education is a critical need of the time, as the foundat ion of a strong and prosperous Pakistan can only be laid on quality education and exemplary upbringing.
