Cairo: On the first day of Eid, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan sacrificed animals in Egypt's Ashir Ramadan for Gaza refugees. Meat was delivered to the temporary shelters of Palestinian refugees from Gaza.
Prior to this, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Hafeezur Rehman; Secretary General of Alkhidmat US, Imran Ashraf; and Head of Palestine Relief at the Alkhidmat Camp Office in Cairo, Dr. Hamed Farooq, along with other officials, offered Eid prayers with the Gaza refugees in Cairo. They also met with prominent community leaders from Palestine, Sudan, and Egypt.
Later, President Dr. Hafeezur Rehman accompanied by other officials, visited the slaughterhouse in Ashir Ramadan to inspect the ongoing sacrifice and slaughtering activities for Gaza refugees on the first day of Eid. After preparation, the meat was delivered to Palestinian families.
Dr. Hafeezur Rehman is spending this Eid-ul-Azha, like the previous year, with Gaza refugees in different areas of Egypt. During his stay, he will oversee Palestine Relief operations and also participate in an Eid festival organized in honor of orphaned children from Gaza.
He stated that on the second day of Eid, sacrifices donated by the people of Pakistan for Gaza victims will be carried out in Egypt. In total, 1,000 cows are being sacrificed in Egypt for the Gaza refugees. In Palestine, small animals are also being sacrificed, and the meat is being immediately distributed among the affected people in Gaza.
