Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said all governments institutions are working hard for eradication of corruption and reforms in national institutions.

He said the government is determined to achieve success in turning Pakistan into a stable global economy through sustainable institutional reforms following the historic victory in Marka-e-Haq.

An important meeting was held under PM Shehbaz Sharif to review FBR reforms in Islamabad on Monday.

PM said institutional reforms are rapidly progressing in all sectors.

He emphasized that all government institutions are working tirelessly to eliminate corruption and other shortcomings such as lack of transparency from national institutions.

He directed to engage globally renowned companies for third-party validation of the ongoing initiatives and reforms in FBR.

The Prime Minister said recent positive economic indicators are clear proof of the right direction of government's policies.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction with the recent performance of the Faceless Customs Assessment System.

He said reforms like the Faceless Customs Assessment System (FCAS) introduced to ensure transparency, are producing encouraging results.

During the meeting the PM was informed about the current performance of `FCAS and headway made in reforms in Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL).

It was told that tax collection has overall increased due to implementation of FCAS.

It was further told in the briefing the process of reforms is being implemented on fast track basis in Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited.

System of easy digital tax will be enforced soon . Work on process of introducing Digital Tax Return System in Urdu and other regional languages is underway on fast pace.

Federal minister law and justice Azam Nazir Tarar, information minister Atta Ullah Tarar , chairman FBR and senior officers of other departments were present in the meeting.
