All matters have been resolved amicably in Azad Kashmir: PM Shehbaz

Islamabad: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said the government will continue to take steps for the development and prosperity of the Kashmiri people in accordance with their aspirations.

PM Shehbaz Sharif made the remarks during a meeting with government's AJK negotiation committee in Islamabad on Wednesday.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said public interest and peace are our priorities and they will continue to serve the people of Azad Kashmir.

The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the members of the negotiation committee for resolving matters in Kashmir in an effective manner. He said the Joint Action Committee also deserves praise for demonstrating understanding for the development and prosperity of Kashmir.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said all matters have been resolved amicably in Azad Kashmir, assuring concerns of the Kashmiri people will be addressed.

He said his government has always resolved the issues of Azad Kashmir on a priority basis. He said we have always been protectors of the rights of Kashmiri brothers and sisters and we will continue to protect their rights in the future as well.

The members of the who met with PM Shehbaz Sharif include Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Raja Parvez Ashraf, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Sardar Muhammad Yousuf Zaman. Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Economic Affairs Senator Ahad Khan Cheema and SAPM Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan were also present on the occasion.
