Lahore: All the staff including SHO of Ghazi Abad police station have been suspended in the case of alleged rape of mentally retarded girl by ASI.

DIG operations Faisal Kamran during his visit to police station suspended the entire staff including SHO of police station for delay in the proceedings and keeping the officers ignorant about the incident.

Ali Zaib Dastgir has been appointed new SHO by suspending Shahr Yar SHO Ghazi Abad police station.

DIG operations has suspended sub inspector , 8 ASI, 5 head constables and 78 constables. Front desk staff , moharrar and drivers too were suspended.

The FIR in respect of suspension of all staff including SHO has been registered in Ghazi Abad police station.
