Islamabad: Pakistan has rejected in categorical terms the allegations of involvement of its citizens in ongoing Ukraine conflict terming them baseless, fabricated and unacceptable. A statement issued by Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson said Pakistan government rejects these allegations fully. No reality is found at any level in this regard.

According to spokesperson neither Ukrainian authorities has made any formal contact with Pakistan nor any verifiable or solid evidence have been provided in support of these claims. Pakistan will formally contact Ukraine on this matter and clarification will be sought on allegations of such nature. FO has made it clear Pakistan believes in peaceful and diplomatic resolution of Ukraine conflict and fully supports the resolution of conflict through dialogue as per principles laid down in UN charter.
