Rawalpindi: The court has ordered to register case under clauses of murder against CTD officers in the matter of fake police encounter.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Sahibzada Naqeeb Shehzad while announcing decision maintained permission cannot be given to kill a citizen by arresting him from his home.
As per media reports one Naeem alias Guddu was arrested from his home on November 30. Later he was allegedly killed in police encounter in Chakwal.
Aasia Bibi sister of the deceased had filed petition for registration of case.
Upon it court issued important orders after hearing the petition.
The court remarked the powers for punishment and reward in any case rest with the court. No one can be allowed to take law into one's hands.
The court maintained it becomes clear from CCTV footage the accused was kidnapped from his home. The police men are seen holding lethal arms.
The court ordered that murder case be registered against all responsible officers and constables.
The court ordered murder case be registered against inspector Shafqat, Inspector Mohsin Shah and inspector Sardar Asim.
Order has also been given to register murder case against constables Malik Abid, Adnan , Ali Shah and Bilal Shah.
The court also directed all the police officials and subordinate staff who are being seen in CCTV footage be nominated in the case.
Additional Sessions judge ordered SHO police station Waris Khan case be registered on the basis of footage related to the arrest of the accused. Statement of Asia Bibi sister of the victim be also recorded.
