Islamabad: A three-day Tablighi Ijtima is currently underway in Islamabad, with around two hundred and fifty thousand people expected to attend.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Jamia Abu al-Qasim Tablighi Center in Islamabad and met their leaders.

He expressed gratitude to the organizers for postponing the gathering during Islamabad Talks.

The Interior Minister said an effective security and traffic plan has been arranged for the Tablighi Ijtima. He also commended the leaders of Tablighi Center for promoting religious harmony and national unity.

Minister Naqvi said that organizers of the Tablighi Ijtima will be invited to a special lecture at the Police Lines.

The Tablighi Ijtima will conclude today (Sunday) after special prayers.
