Lahore: Approval has been accorded to set up first skill city in Punjab.

As per media reports Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has sought proposals and plan for the first skill city of Punjab.

Technical institutions in conformity with requirements of industry will be set up in the skill city.

Skill Education institutions in Punjab will be made centers of excellence.

Technical and Vocational Education Board of Punjab has decided for affiliation with the institutions of Scotland and UK.

Technical and Practical education will be imparted to youths as per requirement of the industry.

Target for making capable the youths for better job after has been fixed.

Technical courses of graphic designing, media production, fashion designing and tourism expert will be arranged.

Education in industrial electrician, plumbering, solar water heating system, professional chef and allied health professional will be provided.

CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has ordered to hire services of the best teachers for technical education.

Directives have been issued to experts in industrial institutions to design syllabus for technical education.
