Islamabad: Arrest warrants of PTI leader Zartaj Gul has been cancelled following her appearance in Islamabad district and sessions court.

Zartaj Gul appeared in the court after issuance of her arrest warrants.

Zartaj Gul reached the court of Civil Judge Mubashar Hassan. Petition seeking cancellation of her arrest warrants was filed by Zartaj Gul.

Judge Mubashar Hassan said Zartaj Gul herself has appeared in the court therefore, I cancel her arrest warrants.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case against Zartaj Gul till March 12.

It is pertinent to mention her district and sessions court Islamabad had issued arrest warrants of Zartaj Gul on Wednesday.

The arrest warrants were issued by civil judge Mubashar Hassan Chishti.

The court had said Zartaj Gul had not appeared despite being summoned several times. Arrest warrants are being issued due to non appearance of Zartaj Gul.

Case against Zartaj Gul is registered in police station Bahara Kahu.
