Rawalpindi: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has adjourned hearing of 11 cases of May 9 incident including GHQ attack case against former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others till May 10 without any proceedings.
Court has adjourned proceedings on interim bail pleas of former minister Azam Swat, Umair Niazi, Zain Elahi, Saad Ali Khan and Taimore Nawaz till next date in 2 cases registered in police station Hassan Abdal.
The court while issuing notice to the respondents on PTI women wing president Kanwal Shauzab petition seeking permission to go to US has sought reply on May 5.
Kanwal Shauzab took the plea in her petition filed through her counsel seeking permission to go to US that she could not meet her son since two years. There is graduation ceremony of her son on May 18 for which invitation has been extended to her by college to participate in ceremony. Therefore, court should allow her to go to US for one month.
