Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad while rejecting the plea for extending physical remand of 17 protesters arrested during protest in D-Chowk has sent them to jail on judicial remand.17 protesters who were arrested during the protest in D-chowk were presented in the ATC led by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.Prosecutor Atif Ranjha requested for extension in physical remand of the accused for further 20 days.The counsel for the accused Ansar Kiyani opposed physical remand.Prosecutor Atif Ranjha said totally 11 days remand was granted in respect of the accused. Some recoveries have been made.The court while rejecting plea of extension in physical remand sent the accused to jail on judicial remand.
