Karachi: Investigating officer has identified 4 workers of alleged proscribed BLA during the hearing of Chinese consulate attack case in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC).The key witness in the case and investigating officer Nek Muhammad identified 4 workers of banned BLA during his evidence.Investigating officer Nek Muhammad said in his evidence 3 workers of alleged banned BLA attacked Chinese Consulate on November 23, 2018. I can identify 4 accused who are present in court room.The accused Ahmad Hasnain, Abdul Latif, Aslam and Ali Ahmad were arrested in the cases of explosive material and ammunition.The accused in their confessional statements admitted their involvement in attack on Chinese consulate. The accused provided the facility to terrorists who were killed. They provided arms and explosive material to attackers. The accused had conducted rekkie of Chinese consulate along with terrorists before the incidentThe defence counsel Abid Zaman took the plea the confessional statements of his cli ents was not recorded in the said case. False case was instituted against his clients. Police have no evidence against the accused.The court after recording the statement of the investigating officer adjourned the hearing for cross questioning on statement.
